Participants are asked to speculate the given topic in a very short time intuitively, without analytical conscious thought. Elements of the brief, the social context and the materials are then introduced. Each student’s work stands to remain unique. No two students shall develop the same understanding towards their end goal. Students are encouraged to portray work through 3D models, developed using the framework tutored throughout the design workshop. Adequate guidance and support shall be given to students to undertake the model making. Models made are finally portrayed through digital photographs using light boxes.
